Day Room South Beach?

Hi

Please could anyone tell me experience of booking a room for day use in South Beach? We are looking for something on disemark day. We have a late flight out of Miami so would love to spend the day exploring South beach.

 

I see a couple of airport hotels who seem to offer this but I'd much rather not spend the day taking cabs back and forth and try to find a base in South beach if possible.

 

Since we aren't travelling til March the couple sites I searched only have dates out for the next couple months so looking for some local knowledge please so I can contact the hotels direct

March is peak season so availability could be tight.:confused:

 

Blue Herons, a local who often posts here, often suggests several SB hotels who offer day passes to their pool/spa facilities. Tip them to hold your bags and you should be good to go.

Thanks for you reply. Understand its peak and prices are high etc. Guess I'll wait til much nearer the time and see if anything shows up on the search sites
