Singapore Baggage Drop

Can anyone who has sailed out of Singapore tell me what time baggage drop opens?

Just in case someone is searching the threads for this information, I just received an email from Princess advising that Bag Drop in Singapore opens at 8am.

We thought if we can get up, have breakfast and check out of the hotel we can drop of our luggage, except carry on, then go for a walk to the Gardens by the Bay, It is a 2.5km walk, before checking in.

It's probably a short taxi ride away rather than a walk. For one, Singapore is a hot country. 2.5km walk leaves you all sweaty.

 

Another, the distance covers thru major roads and highways leading into the city with constructions on both sides of the road. IMHO it's not very safe to stroll around
