Booked the Ruby

What are the costs for the new Share venue? Is it worth the $.?

 

We went twice on our 15 days cruise and enjoyed it very much. Plan to do the same on our next cruise. We very seldom eat in the MDR and never the buffet

Thanks for the positive comments about the Ruby. Before we boarded the Grand we read a lot of negative, but we liked the Grand. Looking forward to our Ruby cruise.

We are just off the Ruby, it's a beautiful ship. Had a great experience, loved the food, ship's in great shape no worn areas of note. Staff could be friendlier, we cruised with 11 and that was the biggest complaint overall.

We are booked on Her for February and really looking forward to it.

We've been on the Caribbean and Grand Princess ships before, for will be fun to explore the RUBY!

I am so excited. Off to the Mexican Riviera again. First time on the Ruby. We just got back from the Grand and loved it!! What do I have to look forward to on the Ruby?

 

Ruby is there nicest ship next to the Regal/Royal.

We will be on the Ruby December 2017, so I have a few questions for you recent Ruby Cruisers.

 

Salty Dog - Can you sit at the bar and order drinks but no food? What kind of music do they play?

 

 

Assuming it's like the Crown - yes. The seating area near the bar are not set for the Salty Dog, although they do put the menu on the table.

 

The music is usually the ballroom small group - at least on the Crown, and on every other ship I've been on.

 

Also, Grand has the Vista Lounge (I think) Ruby has Club Fusion. Ruby has Skywalkers - it was removed on the Grand a few years ago and a new disco put in on floor 15 - actually looks nicer than Skywalkers.
