Price drop for none US travelers

Recommended Posts

If the price of a cruise drops before final payment, are none US travelers eligible for a reduction the same way I read all of you US travelers are?

Is it possible for me to just call my local RCI center and have my cruise fare adjusted?

If you booked through RCI and not a TA. Then yes ring them. I got the new rate 3 times. Just know that any OBC or other perks maybe lost.

Thank you! I will give them a call.

I have som OBC since I've used a Next Cruise Certificate I bought a couple of years ago. I'm also expecting some extra OBC since I'm bringing a couple of first time cruisers in two extra cabins.

Will make sure I get to keep it. ;)

Those things should not be affected by repricing. Repricing can take away perks that were given only at the time of original booking, like a WOW sale or other promotion.

There is no universal answer to this question.

T&C´s vary from Country to Country. Many countries outside the US are not eligible for Price Drops Prior to final payment.

The Problem is under the US T&C´s you can simply cancel and re-book if there is a Price drop, that´s why RCI honors those Price Drops unless it´s s Promotion with certain restrictions and that´s why you also often lose OBC that was attached to your initial booking. They kinda handle it like a new booking.

Now many countries outside the US, you can´t cancel without losing your deposit or at least some amount of Money. So it´s often a case of cancelation and re-booking, but you Need to be careful about what you lose and what you gain.

You Need to check carefully what´s the policy for your booking.

You will have to pay a fee of skr 250,- per person to any changes. (Price, stateroom etc)
