GSC, Snorkeling Trails?

Recommended Posts

There is a thread about this on the Private Island board but it is 2 months old and no one ever answered so I thought I would ask here.

I see on the NCL website there is an excursion for $30pp for snorkeling and it has 14 trails on GSC. Question is, if you have your own snorkeling equipment can you snorkel these trails without paying the $30?

Same question, has anyone snorkeled the sculpture trail with their own equipment? Some of our group have equipment and some do not. If some pay $30 for the equipment, can the rest go together with them?

We were there in Nov. and Dec. but the trails weren't open yet because of the hurricane. As a matter of fact, a lot wasn't open, and a lot of bull dozers and things sitting around.

I would still like to know also since I didn't find out for myself and we go again next year.
