Nay Nay Posted October 26, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2005 by the time of our 11/21 cruise? We're sailing on the Imagination and I'm clueless about how long cleanup and recovery takes from such a massive storm. (Yikes, I feel selfish asking this question!) Of course the safety of the citizens is more important, I'm just curious about how this works. Should I expect to have the same fabulous cruise we had originally planned or will the islands affected need more time for recovery? TIA!
GoinCruisin Posted October 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Miami will be fine, the port is open, the airport is open. Grand Caymen is open and as far as I know Ocho Rios is as well... the places that aren't fine are Cozumel and Cancun. I think ships are going to all other places... neverenufcruising Posted October 26, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2005 We were in Ocho Rios just last week after Wilma on the Navigator. No worries, everything was fine there.
