Rooms In The Back Of The Ship

A lot of people, me included, think these are the BEST cabins!

It is often hard to get one unless you book well in advance. Book it and consider yourself lucky! The may be a little more motion, but I'm not convinced of it. The nice thing is that your balcony in totally private and the cabin is generally away from the hustle and bustle in the halls. You will feel and hear the thrusters, though, coming into port early each port day.

HotShot99,

I have not been lucky enough to get the aft suites/balcony cabin yet.

But, I was on the Star Princess Aloha 747, outside cabin.

Very quiet usually, great access to the Terrace Pool & Horizon Court.

One morning I did hear them dragging the deck chairs out.

Hubby and I had one of the Aft cabins on the Carnival Legend for our Back to Back cruise this past Spring. We had a wrap-around balcony too.

I'm glad I spent the extra money for it !!! ............Karen

SunPrincess: Do you have any more pictures of your Star Princess cabin?? Hubby and I are sailing with our moms on the Golden Princess and we have Cabins A746 and A748. Same area you were in so they should be identical

They are absolutely HORRIBLE cabins...no one should EVER want to book one !!

I agree! ;) LOL

No really, despite all the walking you'll have to do to get to anything in the front of the ship, They are amazing cabins to be in! I was in D735 on the Caribbean Princess last year and LOVED the Fully covered XL balcony.

We have stayed in the aft and side mini suites and DH and I have different views. He loves the aft whilst I like the side cabins as I am an early riser I like to sit on the balcony and watch as we sail into port and you can only see where you have come from when you are at the back.

However as long as I get to choose where we go and I am on the ship I want I think I can let him have his way on the cabin.
