Carnival Valor-Scenic Ocean View

Just got off Valor 5 day Bahamas. We had rooms 9198, 9199 and 9196. The Scenic Ocean views are amazing! If you get the chance to book these rooms they are highly recommended. Being forward in the ship you do feel some motion, but it wasn't too bad. The ability to raise the blinds and watch the ship enter the ports was awesome! The rooms are a little roomier as there is a large bench below the window that kids can sit on or you can lounge on if you want. Plenty of storage in the rooms. It was great being on the Lido deck, as we didnt have to stair or elevator ourselves to hit the buffet or pools.

Pics attached, all views are taken from the room except obviously the ones of the ship from the pier...apologies if they appear sideways.not sure what happened there..

What a great view from the room! We are sailing on the Valor in a few weeks for my parents' anniversary with our daughters and 4yo grandson. Any recommendations on activities for the 4yo? He would not want to be left so that would eliminate any drop off programs.

Thanks for the information and pictures. We have 9198 booked on the valor for the end of september. Excited about the room, but concerned about the motion. But think our 6yr old and 1yr old will love looking out the window. Was the room noisy bc its a connecting room?

Our relatives were next door so its wasn't much of an issue, but you can hear noise coming from the adjoining room. Its not terrible, but we heard the TV and some voices every now and again.

Besides the water slides there isn't much. The kids club did have a few parent/kid activities so I would look into that. One was a build a bear type thing we did with our kids and I can't remember the other..
