Bon Voyage Gifts? Worth it?

My husband and I started this tradition with our first cruise. We took our youngest daughter and husband on the last one and what fun to hear thier surprise upon opening their door and seeing balloons and bon voyage decorations hanging from the ceiling! The decorations are a bit pricey, but so much fun to hear the remarks! Plus knowing that someone took the time to plan ahead is special!

Over the years, we've probably received almost all of the options. They were all great I thought except the cheese plate, avoid it at all costs! And I know a lot of people like the decorations, but I thought they were very cheesy, excuse the pun. Wine, flowers, strawberries, tote bag (fabulous for $19.95), casino credit and general credit were all good options.

I like your choices; have never seen the decorations and am not sure it would do much my clients or me.

I did the decorations once, and did enjoy them, but they got annoying after a couple of days and we took them down. We still have the decorations and liked the fact that the streamers were cut out in the crowne and anchor, but they're not worth $29 either.

I had the choc. covered strawberries and champagne sent to my mom for her honeymoon cruise. She said they were delivered to the cabin the first night about an hour or two before dinner (late seating). She said they were huge and very tasty.
