Celebrity Eclipse - Stockholm

Hi,

We are on the Eclipse next week doing the Baltic.

Does anyone know where the ship is likely to dock in Stockholm.

We are wanting to visit the Vasa Museum and trying to work out the best way to do this but would like to have an idea where we might dock.

Any advice would be appreciated as we are unable to find the exact dock on the port schedule.

Thanks

We are on the same cruise, I understand it is docking just across the Vasa Museum and it is quite easy to go to the Vasa Museum with the HOHO ferry. If you go to the Ports of Calls - Europe- Northern Europe there are lots of threads discussing this.

Also the Roll Call has lots of information as well

We're on the same cruise. We dock at Stadsgarden S167, unless it changes. Unfortunately, there are two other cruise ships in port on the same day both dock before we do, at 7am & 9am, we dock at 11am. One departs an hour before us, the other ten minutes after us so we can expect the port to be busy coming back from the tours, just consciousness of queues etc, especially coming back and for the Vasa Museum. Watch out for the last HoHo Ferry I read the last one is at around 17.00 hrs.

We have a taxi booked to take us straight to the Vasa. Don't know if it will be any quicker!! But wanted to do that first, then everything else we can do at our leisure.

Do look at the Roll call and sign up for the newt and greet.

Just back from Stockholm. 2nd time there on a cruise. City runs free shuttle buses if the ship is docked far from the center of town. Bus drops off near the opera and the bridge to Gamla Stan. Get a tram map and take it. Those hoho buses/ferries are very expensive. Also, Vasa museum gets big crowds. An afternoon visit is less crowded. The Vasa is a fantastic museum.
