Yes, no smoking allowed on balconies. There are only a few designated smoking areas on board Celebrity ships and they are in outdoor public areas.

As the previous post mentioned, there is no smoking allowed in your stateroom or on the balconies. However, there is a smoking section midship on the port side of the ship on deck 5. I have read that sometimes the balcony cabins on deck 6 midship can be affected by this.

We have sailed in a Deck 6 balcony cabin on Equinox as well as Solstice--several times. We have never experienced smoke drifting up from Deck 5. (Of course, I’m not saying it won’t happen to you!)

No smoking is permitted in any cabin, nor any balconies. If you see anyone light up, call Guest Relations.

Only smoking allowed on Equinox is Deck 5 port side (outside),Mast Grill starboard side, Sunset Bar port side, Pool deck port side. No inside smoking including Casino and no balcony smoking.
