Rare trippingpara Posted August 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2016 unsure of what to do in Malta - what did you do when there or what do you plan to do We did a private tour with Karlito's Way in Malta. One of the best tours that we have ever taken. I really struggled finding something in this port as well. He had great reviews so I decided to go for it. Check out my review in my signature line of the inaugural to see just how great of a tour it was! In Marseilles, we did a semi-private tour with ItalyTours.eu. It was a tour of Arles, Les Baux , St Remy & Avignon. We loved that one too! I would highly recommend both of these tours.
HawkIVette Posted August 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2016 We are on the Sept 13th cruise from Athens to Barcelona. It will be our 4th day of the cruise and only 2nd port (providing Turkey is cancelled). We chose the Mosta, Mdina and Rabat excursion. Gives a good view of the island and explores the architecture of the Catholic churchs. 4 hrs with some walking. Gives us sometime after the excursion for exploring on our own. Didn't want to tire us out for our upcoming ports that will be longer, and more strenuous.
summer50 Posted August 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2016 On our June 3rd Vista voyage, we used Provence Connection for a tour when we ported in Marseille. It was to the Luberone villages and Lavendar fields...beautiful fishing villages, gorgeous lavendar fields and a lavendar farm, village markets with artisan gelatos, pizzas/foccacias, soaps, jewelry, foodstuffs. It was a wonderful day...one of our best tours of the trip. Partly because of Christian our tour guide and partly because the area is so beautiful.
