mchelle77 Posted August 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2016 Does anyone have a recommendation for a larger party? We're open to ideas - our arrival and departure day is being spent on our own (my husband, daughter and I have a beach day planned and a visit to the caves and nature reserve planned) but now we have one other day open that we're aiming to spend with the group. We're trying to find something that can accommodate our party and allow us to maybe snorkel?

Your main problem with a group that size will be getting everyone in the group to agree on what to do. If you want to book something like snorkeling from a boat like Rising Sun or Restless Catamaran you better get to it. Those can sell out space. It might be harder to get 13 on one of those. mchelle77 Posted August 11, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted August 11, 2016 Well, we don't necessarily need to book anything through NCL ... that's why I asked here, to see if anyone had any experience with finding interesting ideas for larger parties on the island in general. Charles4515 Posted August 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Well, we don't necessarily need to book anything through NCL ... that's why I asked here, to see if anyone had any experience with finding interesting ideas for larger parties on the island in general. You shouldn't book anything thru NCL! You can book everything on your own independently for less than any NCL excursion and you can do everything on your own without booking thru NCL. Don't do any NCL excursions on your Bermuda cruise. You didn't say much except accommodate your party and snorkeling. I can't tell from that whether you want to do it from a boat or go to Church Bay or Tobacco Bay. The boats I mentioned can be booked independently. You can do almost anything with a group. The one thing I can think of specific to a large group would be a minibus tour of Bermuda. There is almost nothing your group could not do so really the question is what would your group be interested in doing. I have not had any experience with finding interesting ideas for larger parties, but here's my try. walk the beach path that connects 5 beaches, The path(s) connects these beaches: (start at) Warwick Long Bay, Jobson's Cove, Stonehole Bay, Chaplin Bay, and (end at) Horseshoe Bay Beach and are about .6-.7 miles in total length. Test the waters at each beach and clean up at HSB which has the facilities; go horseback riding on trails (call on this one); visit Fort Hamilton, which is in Hamilton, and be sure to walk the moat; visit the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Inst. (BUEI) in Hamilton; visit Waterville & Parkland; shopping on Front St or the Washington Mall, Queen St in Hamilton; visit historical St George, a UNESCO World Heritage Center, and do a walking tour; visit the World Heritage Center in St George; play a round of FunGolf at the Dockyard; sample rum cakes at the Bermuda Rum Cake Co at the Dockyard; visit the Bermuda Maritime Museum at the Dockyard; have Afternoon Tea at the Dockyard Pastry Shop & Bistro; visit Scaur Hill Fort Park and have a picnic there and then hike the Railway Trail north to Somerset Village, a little over a mile. (have not worked out all the details yet). SBtS
ekmmom Posted August 14, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2016 https://www.islandtourcentre.com/ Our family of 6 did the snorkel tour- Jessie James 2 stop snorkel adventure and we booked Hartley's Helmet Dive on our own. Both were EXCELLENT!! We've been to Bermuda many times but wanted to do something different this time and everyone had a great time on both excursions!!
