Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted October 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2005 "A cruise ship is also on its way to Cozumel to pick up Americans and take them to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, free of charge, State Department officials said." This was from a CNN article entitled: "Wilma deals $800 million blow to Mexican travel industry" http://www.cnn.com/2005/TRAVEL/10/26/wilma.mexico.travel/index.html Any word on what ship this will be??? springtxbill Posted October 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2005 It is a Royal Caribbean ship that was had cancelled it's cruise and was taking supplies down and I guess they figured out they may as well bring stranded people back. Do not remember the name of the ship. A great gesture on their part as they are probably not even being reimbursed for the costs.
