DonnaK Posted August 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) The solarium pool is open to anyone ages 16 and older. On the Alaska itinerary, it may be open for a few hours each day to "families" including those under age 16. The family hours will be posted in the Cruise Compass Edited August 15, 2016 by DonnaK
spookwife Posted August 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2016 The solarium is an adult only pool(16+) with no real draw except that it is hopefully quieter than the main family pool. Some ships have it fully enclosed, with a retractable roof that may or may not ever be opened. On those ships, in particularly bad weather they might allow children to use it a couple of hours a day.
