nilsol Posted August 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2016 We are staying at the Hyatt (pre-cruise) and looking forward to exploring the city. Any suggestions for must see/do? We are doing the Fall Escape on Crystal Serenity which leaves from Quebec City on October 18 and disembark in Manhattan on Oct 25. Also, any tips for our other ports of call -- Baie-Comeau, Gaspe, Bar Harbor & Boston. Thanks much.
BCHappyGal Posted August 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2016 Depends what interests you Old Montreal is a fun area to explore with lots of good restaurants St Joseph's Oratory Notre Dame Cathedral which IMO is nicer that its name sake in Paris The miles and miles on underground mall shopping If you are a wine buff rent a car and do a winery tour in the Eastern Townships only an hour outside of Montreal Plus in this area you will see lots of beautiful foliage and even find some old wooden covered bridges... cruiseryyc Posted August 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2016 (edited) You might get more answers if you post your question on the Canada/New England forum. Edited August 26, 2016 by cruiseryyc
Jolie_Cruiser Posted August 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2016 I agree with the previous poster. If you have any questions about the Canada N/E route better to post in that forum. But anyway here is a very useful Montréal thread: "Anything Montreal": http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1821399&page=
