Booking Shore Excursions?

Question...I received an email yesterday from Princess saying I can pre-reserve my shore excursions on my account. I went to the Cruise Personalizer and it still says "not yet available". Any clue as to what is going on? Plus there is the fact that my itinerary is going to Cozumel. When I can book excursions, should I book in Cozumel?

Just keep checking the personalizer. With all the problems in Coz, it could be another couple of weeks before they open up for booking. But if you check every day, you will know immediately when they are open.

What about the other ports? Is this just the same old issues with the Princess website?

We have seen certain times when the shore excursions do not open for booking until 60 days out, so I wouldn't be too concerned over this.

I received an email for ours and they didn't open until about 3-4 days after the email. Just keep checking.

I also received an email to book my excursions, but am unable to do so at this time. I am doing the Southern Caribbean route in January.

FYI - last year we had a stop in Grenada, I prereserved an excursion that I was told after we boarded was not available at that time. Bummer, but once I got to Grenada I understood the problems that they had in greater detail.
