Security Precautions in Western Caribbean

Recommended Posts

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I am going on a Christmas cruise with my family on the Jade out of Tampa and I just realized that on my itinerary it say that due to safety concerns all passengers need to be back on board 2 HOURS prior to departing the port. Now is that just in Tampa or in all ports of call?

NCL really needs to clean up this language since this question comes up at least once a week here.

The "2 hours before" departure refers to your embarkation port (first day) only. It does NOT apply to ports of call. All aboard time in ports of call is typically 1/2 hour prior to the scheduled departure on your itinerary.
