Houston to Galveston (non airport transfer)

I am sending my parents on a cruise this coming weekend. They are flying in a few days before and staying a few days after their cruise. I am trying to figure out the best way to get them to the cruise terminal and then back to my house.

 

In order for me to get them there and pick them up I would have to drive my infant son the round trip which could end up being 3-4 hours total. I would really like to avoid this if there is a better way.

 

I have gotten a few quotes from limousine type companies and they have all been around $200 each way. Yikes!!

 

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
