Chef's Table/Manfredi's

I've read online that if you are in a "standard" veranda room (3rd deck), that the Chef's Table and Manfredi's are not included in the dining package. Only deluxe and above. I do not see that in the Viking booklet for our upcoming tour. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I know reservations are required.

Once you get aboard you will get a chance to make reservations at both restaurants. On my Homeland cruise, I was able to make one reservation at each in advance because of my room category. Once aboard I was able to make more. We are at Manfredi's 4 times. Enjoy you cruise.

I think you misunderstood what was being said. Anyone can eat in the specialty dining room-- and there is no added fee for the privilege regardless of what class stateroom you are in. What is not included for veranda staterooms are 'guaranteed' reservations or the ability to reserve prior to sailing. But as almelanson pointed, once you are on board, you can make your reservations and usually (and especially if you are flexible or willing to take a later seating) you can make multiple reservations.

 

This Viking webpage gives a good summary of the stateroom perks. It is the same on all of the ships
