nanner10 Posted November 22, 2005 #26 Share Posted November 22, 2005 Gypsyrose: Unfortuately AARP does not offer a discount for Budget rentals, but, they do for Avis, Hertz and National. Click this link: http://www.aarp.org/aarp_benefits/offer_travel/car_rentals/ . Then check each companies link. You will see that they each list their discount codes. Enter that number when asked, if it not already entered for you. I checked Avis for my dates in December and with my AARP discount an intermediate car was $26.99 (plus tax, etc). You will need to enter MCO for Orlando airport location pick-up and Cape Canaveral for the return location. I frequently make purchases online and have never had a problem. Just be sure to check that the URL says https and the padlock icon is visible in the lower right of your screen at the point when it asks for your credit card info. Also, I am assuming you are praticing "safe computer"!!!! You could also just call the rental company to see if they offer the same rate by phone. Maybe you could even try calling AARP to see if they can do it for you.
