Lillykat Posted October 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2005 I am thinking of using Travelex that I got through insuremytrip. Does anyone have any experience with them? Positives? Negatives?
mrscintn Posted October 30, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2005 It is the only insurance that I WILL use! They are great with coverage (better if you look at the fine print) and claims..........Never had a problem. I have been using them for about 6 years or so and highly recomend them. Iamthesea Posted October 30, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2005 I hear they are great! I just read a post where they are easy to deal with and speedy about paying claims! My travel agent ;) ;) recommends them. My parents will be making a small claim this week. I will let you know how things turn out.

legalslave Posted October 31, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2005 I am using Travelex. Have used them before but fortunately have never needed to make a claim. I used to work for a temp agency and worked for about a month at their office in Omaha about 3 years ago. I will say I was impressed with their employees knowledge and their great customer service. jerseygirl3 Posted October 31, 2005 #7 Share Posted October 31, 2005 You won't regret going with Travelex. They have the absolute best customer service, and their prices are fantastic. We recently submitted a claim, and it was quite painless (hardly any paperwork involved, just had to fill out the front side of a claim form, very easy and comprehensive) and attach the bill from the ship's doctor. I had a check in my hand in 2 weeks.
Lillykat Posted October 31, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted October 31, 2005 Thank you! I am very hopeful that we will NOT have to use it at all. But better to have it than be sorry later.
