Cannes tender - how long?

If our ship "arrives" in Cannes at 8AM, what time could we expect to actually be on shore? If we have a prearranged tour meeting us at the port at 8:30, how early should we be prepared to get a tender? Any chance of being in the port by 8:30?

Hard to know since it depends on the size of your ship, whether you are anchored on time, the prevailing winds, and the sea conditions. And on most cruise lines their own excursions will get priority tendering along with frequent cruisers who qualify for priority tendering. For the masses, you will likely have to go to a public lounge (when ready to go ashore) and get tender tickets. The earlier you get to that lounge the earlier you will get ashore. With luck....you should be able to meet your tour about 9. With bad luck...who knows?
