First timer luggage question

Hi I am going on a fly cruise next May. The flight is with Jet2 from Manchester to Rome, my question relates to whether I have to pick up my luggage from Rome or does it go straight through to the ship.? Thanks

We've never flown with Jet2 but have done flycruise with other airlines and have always picked up luggage from the carousel and wheeled it through to the transfer bus. Once it goes on the bus you don't see it again until it gets delivered to your cabin.

 

Make sure you have the luggage labels with the cabin number on when you load the cases onto the bus. We once shared a bus with some German passengers and as soon as we pulled up to the terminal the porters started unloading the luggage and taking it away. The driver had not opened the doors to let us off the bus yet and they were panicking because they could see their luggage disappearing and it had no labels on.
