LivetoCruise412 Posted September 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2016 We are Taking my mother on Oasis on the December 4th sailing I really want her to be able to see this ship. I was wondering if anyone knows when they decorate it for Christmas, because it would make it even more special if it were decorated. She's had a bunch of health issue this past year and I would love for it to be as special as it can be. Thanks

Clarea Posted September 9, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2016 Do you know when they take them down? We've taken several cruises the week after New Year's, and the decorations have been up when we board but were gone before the end of the cruise. crosby99 Posted September 10, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Twice we boarded on the 6th and the decorations were still up. The decorations on Allure last year were all down before New year's eve. I think they took them down on 30th. By last day at sea which was the 2nd January the was no sign of anything New Year or Christmas except what people had attached to cabin doors or the odd bit of tinsel that had been missed. The Christmas decorations on the Royal promenade were very good though. I certainly wouldn't bank on them being around for any post New Year cruise but assume it must vary by ship.
