murph1031 Posted September 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2016 How soon to the date od sailing does booking stay open? Looking at a quick getaway this weekend. Sailing from Miami this Friday. When do they close the online booking for a Friday cruise? Thank in advance for any help.

rzscott79 Posted September 13, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 13, 2016 As long as there is availability, you can make a reservation up until midnight EST the day prior. At midnight the day the cruise embarks the itinerary will be pulled. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
hawkeyetlse Posted September 13, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 13, 2016 As long as there is availability, you can make a reservation up until midnight EST the day prior. At midnight the day the cruise embarks the itinerary will be pulled. That seems very unlikely to be true for all sailings around the world, because a lot of departure ports are way ahead of EST: Most European departure ports are 5-6 hours ahead, Australia and NZ are 12-16 hours ahead! In other words, midnight in Miami on the day prior to departure is 4pm on embarkation day in Auckland. I doubt they will accept bookings that late… The Star and the Epic both have departures tomorrow September 14 from Rome and Copenhagen. Those sailings have already disappeared from the ncl.eu site but they are currently still on the US site (not sold out). Maybe people can watch and see when they are removed from the US site.
