Boat Rental

Has anyone ever rented a boat on their own to explore? We are a family of 4 including a 5 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. I thought it would be nice to be able to snorkel, fish and explore on our own. My husband is a very experienced boater so that is not a concern.

 

Any experiences would be greatly appreciated. :)

they rent boats, but be advised that antigua has more reefs around the island than any other island in the area except possibly out sister island barbuda. none are marked....and many experienced boaters end up making mistakes with the reef. Be sure to ask plenty questions and get a chart before you go out. Good luck and have fun.......
