Mellowjourney Posted September 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2016 RCL policy states that most outdoor smoking areas are on the starboard side of the ship. I am booked on Deck 12 of the starboard side and I'm wondering if anyone has had a problem with smoke from the pool deck below? Can anyone tell me where the public smoking areas are on LOS? I am booked far enough out to change my room assignment if needed. Thank you.
Jimnbigd Posted September 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2016 I don't think there will be any problem. The deck 12 cabins are at the front of the ship, and not directly over the pool smoking area.

wolfganghowell Posted September 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2016 The smoking areas on Liberty are starboard deck 4 (outside schooner bar), starboard deck 11 by pool, and casino. On our sailing, they did have signs on the casino bar no smoking to prevent smokers from camping out at the bar. Yes there is smoking at the tables and machines but this was the first time I saw them attempting to control the actual bar area. There's also a non smoking table section at the casino entrance from boleros and photo gallery. I too can't see you having a problem in your room since the pool area is covered - just open air from the windows and nowhere close to those rooms. ronandcarla Posted September 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2016 No matter what ship or where you stay there will be smoking out on the balcony and thats a matter of fact; it appears to me that ever since they changed the rules about no smoking on the balcony the individuals have moved into the casino area by reason that it is more convenient. Mellowjourney Posted September 28, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted September 28, 2016 Thank you everyone for your help. My fiance smokes a little and I'm sure he'll be one of those hanging out in the casino since he doesn't smoke around me. I just don't want to pay for a balcony that I can't use. Have a fantastic week! :)
deliver42 Posted September 28, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 28, 2016 Other than the casino, there is also a cigar lounge on the Royal Promenade that cigarette smokers use also.
