What to do in Miami for the day

Our flight gets into Miami @ 10am - the day before our cruise. Any suggestions on activities for the day- with kids

Not sure about the age of your kids, but some sugg's would be:

 

The Children's Museum and Jungle Island, those two are in Watson Island right across from the port of Miami.

There is the Seaquarium.

There is the Vizcaya Museum, (this less for children but beautiful gardens)

If they like planes there is the Wings Over Miami Museum.

The Everglades are nice, airboat rides and lots of wild life.

Rent a car and drive to the Ft Lauderdale area...Hollywood Beach, Dania Beach, Ft Lauderdale Beach, Lauderdale By the Sea, Water Taxi...

 

Better yet...Rent a car, drive to Ft Lauderdale area and stay in a hotel there.
