Progresso at the end of December

Hi, we're looking at a cruise that sails the last week of December. It goes to Progresso and Cozumel. Does anyone know what the weather is like and what the water temperature is like at that time of year? Does it remain as comfortably warm and beautiful as it does in April or May?

According to AccuWeather The December 2016 is predicted to be in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Temperature is warm in Progresso and Cozumel.
