vedettes1 Posted September 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2016 Does NCL permit this? Or is it done with a wink and a tip for the room steward?
Gershep Posted October 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2016 (edited) On paper/reservation a child under 21 needs to be in a room with an adult 21 or older. Once you get on board no one cares who sleeps in what room. I just saw you asked about connecting rooms that may be different since there is a door between you. hawkeyetlse Posted October 1, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2016 You can book the kids in their own room. NCL allows this, just ask them. Even if for some reason you end up booking one adult in each room, you don't have to sneak around or tip anyone to switch rooms. Go to the front desk and tell them you want to switch people around. SherRay6840 Posted October 1, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2016 You can book children in their own room if it's adjoining. There's language in their terms and agreement that state this when booking. I just did it in August and it was much easier/better than trying to change key cards, etc later as we had to do another time Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Tcas1 Posted October 1, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2016 Yes you can. We just did it in July. We had four girls under 18 in the adjoining room. The only obstacle (minor) is online checkin. You can't do it online. You have to do it through email, but I forget the email address. You won't be able to print their luggage tags, but just print extra of yours. If I find the email address, I'll post it.
Tcas1 Posted October 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2016 Found it faster than I thought. It would be Documentation-NCL@ncl.com I know you haven't booked yet, but if you do it that way, it may be easier to have more information now. I had a really hard time getting them checked in until I asked on these boards and got the correct information.
haply Posted October 2, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 2, 2016 You can book your kids in another room as long as they are connecting. You will have to call however as the computer will not let you do it online. You can check them in online at http://www.ncl.com/oci. No sneaking required.
