UBER: family of 4 to port everglades

Hi folks,

Just booked our first cruise on royal Allure. Has anyone ever used an UBER or Lyft? We are a family of 4 with a wife who chronicly over packs.

Not sure what UBER or Lyft type to use. We are staying at a hotel fairly close to the port. And it seems the hotel charges $11 pp. Looking for anyone with first hand experience with either of those services, how do you let them know that you need a SUV larger vehicle.

Thank you.

Did UberXL going to Port Everglades with three. Wound up beging around $18 from a Hotel south of the airport.

Just pick in the app UberXL or what ever the Lyft equivalent is if using Lyft.

Also for reference, the vehicle was a Toyota Highlander that my driver had.

Like rental cars, this just gives you an idea of size.

Thank you... we have a highlander as it so happens. So that type of vehicle would be big enough. Even with my wife's packing compulsion.

Just don't tell her I said that[emoji12]

Not all drivers will have an SUV size vehicle. Once you get connected with a driver, you could text or call them. We use UBER all the time, most recently in London and Barcelona. Good prices.

Be sure you know which berth at Port Everglades. Your driver may not.

Also, if you don't have a promo code, use mine below. We both get $10 off our next ride.
