DVD Player

If it's a portable battery operated, I'd carry on.

 

Just so you know, you cannot hook a DVD to the TV in the cabin. Doesn't work.

 

Not entirely true. Depends on what ship/room/TV.

 

I've used my AppleTV on a few cruises. Although, my success rate with this is very low..on the 22 Carnival cruises I've been on, it only worked about 3 times. I always bring my laptop & speaker with me as a backup screen to watch on.

 

But yea, I agree with the above - don't plan on it :)

i always take my Laptop with my movies digitally downloaded to it and plug the Laptop into the TV. I have never yet had any issues doing this since i started about 4 cruises ago. As every TV so far has had a HDMI port on it and i use a USB to HDMI adapter.
