Early Saver or Pack and Go for Southern Caribbean Cruises?

Hi, all

I'm looking to book a 7 day Southern Caribbean cruise for December 2017. I found 2 cruises that I'm interested in, NCL Dawn and Carnival Fascination. They have similar itinerary, however NCL Dawn doesn't have any regular balcony cabins available expect mini suite and higher categories. And Carnival does. I've never cruise with Carnival. I'm a little worried booking 14 months in advance with Early Saver rate. I'm still learning how it all works. Does anyone know if Carnival offer Pack and Go rate for southern Caribbean itinerary? Thank you!

Any advice is appreciated!

Only book ES if you are 100% sure you will sail on that ship on that date with the people you initially book. There is a $50 change fee for changes made under ES.

That being said, Southern itineraries tend to remain popular. You may get lucky and get a cheaper rate, but if the price is something you are happy with, I would do ES so I could select my own cabin.

How many are you trying to book in a cabin? Are you looking at Dec3 or 10?

The reason I ask is because they have balcony's available on the Dawn on those dates but I only checked for 2 pax per cabin.

I just had to look when you said there were no more balcony's left except for JS and above. 14 months out I figured you'd have your pick of the litter.

Hi, Bill

Dec. 3, 2017 for four people (2 adult and 2 kids)

They do have mini suite but it's $900 more than the oceanview.
