Bama Fan Posted October 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2016 Does anyone know if the Dream has CBS while at sea (or gulf). Football game (UA vs. Tex A&M) at 2:30 on Oct 22 that I really want to see.
InspireLiberty Posted October 11, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 11, 2016 CBS (and others) generally show games by region. Be sure to check with CBS in Miami to see if they are airing the game, and then hope that your ship carries the CBS station out of Miami.

TAMU vs UA has been announced as the game for that weekend. *IF* the ship carries CBS (which is likely), then you will be able to see it. Most likely in the sports bar, *maybe* on the lido big screen.
Gamecock_Cruiser Posted October 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 11, 2016 Some how, ships tend to carry different "networks" of the station. We were boarding the day of the Talledaga NASCAR race, which was on ESPN. A guy turned it at a bar for me, but it was not on. He said sometimes they carried different networks and that is why it wasn't on.
summersigh Posted October 11, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 11, 2016 We've found on all the lines we've sailed that the closer you are to Miami the better the chance you'll get a United States network channel. We had all the big 3 networks in the Bahamas. Near St Kitts and St Maarten we were not able to get any of them.
maldenmusic Posted October 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 11, 2016 Seems like all our cruises to Mexico we've been able to get the 3 major networks.
bptex Posted October 11, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 11, 2016 For some reason on my last cruise the major network channels didn't work while in port. Sea days no problem though.
