Waitlisted?

What does it actually mean for MDR to be waitlisted? I thought i read somewhere that if you have FTtf you can get in quicker?

It generally means that more folks have asked for a certain dining option than there are "spaces" for. So, as additional folks request these options, they are put on a wait list in case an "opening" comes available.

Being waitlisted means there are currently no available tables for the time you want. With FTTF, you have a better shot of getting what you want by visiting the Matre'd after boarding but Diamonds are the only one guarenteed anything. With FTTF, Diamonds first, then Platinums, and then FTTF will be looked at.

Dining Reservations

Priority Dinner Time Assignment: FTTF guests will be cleared after VIFP Platinum guests. This benefit does not include specific time reservations for 'Your Time Dining'.

Note: VIFP Diamond guests and guests traveling in deluxe suite accommodations are guaranteed their dining in the Main Dining Room.

We were waited listed this summer but it ended up working out fine. About a month before the cruise we received an email that we were moved to early dinning. Our whole table mentioned it had happened to them too. We ended up having a great time with these people as all our children had just graduated and we had tons to talk about all week. Hope it works out for your family too.

Early. It was very strange. We booked several months ago and had early dining. The rest of our group cancelled. Carnival/website moved to late dining. I had to contact our PVP was finally able to get it changed back to early but we are waitlisted. We are the crazy people going to bed at 9 pm or at least at home.

Good news my PVP was able to get us back to early dining without being waitlisted. Happy day for me. ;)
