Disembarkation

Hello everyone

We are booked into a Princess Suite on QM2 sailing from Dubai to Southampton arriving in early May 2017. I would like to know how disembarkation is organised please as we are trying to book our onward trip to Heathrow.

The Grills and Diamond members get to disembark first. Remember though, there can be a LOT of luggage to offload before passengers are allowed off, unless you self disembark.

Thanks for the information cruiseluvva. We are looking at booking an onward journey to Heathrow for 9.30am. So if we are off in the first groups that would be fine. Our flight from Heathrow is not until 13.55.

I see that the Queen Mary arrival is on May 8, a Monday.....

Our experience, off the Queen Elizabeth on Sep 30, a Friday, at Southampton, was:-

- the ship arrived around 6 AM

- we used "self help" and left the ship at 7:05 AM - few lines.

- pre-arranged car service arrived at 7:40 AM and left soon after for LHR.

- arrived LHR, Terminal 2 at 9:05 AM (a Friday, traffic slightly less than mid-week).

- all checked-in and completed security checks etc bu 10:00 AM.

Are you able to book a transfer to LHR with Cunard?

 

If so, they may well want you on their coach by 9.30am.

If you have booked a Cunard transfer then you will get your own luggage labels and disembarkation time.

 

I am a Diamond CWC member and I am usually off the ship and on my way home by 9am.

Sorry for the delay in responding. We are looking at booking a Cunard transfer and as our flight home isn't until early afternoon it seems like we will be in plenty of time. We are in a PG suite but do not know if that will be considered regarding disembarkation times.
