lrockwitt Posted October 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Why does Princess ask if the water you bring on board is for medical? I have never been asked that question. We are sailing on the Ruby today and when I had carried on my big bottle of water, he asked if it was for medical? Please explain. neverbeenhere Posted October 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2016 CPAP machines need water. They will provide the water and extension cord.
fishywood Posted October 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Just curious--how big was your "big" bottle? And was it open or still sealed? If open they were likely encouraging you to say it was medically necessary so they wouldn't have to stop you to check if it was actually water. lrockwitt Posted October 15, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted October 15, 2016 The bottle was unopened. It is 1 gallon of water. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
easyboy Posted October 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2016 On the Regal last Oct.1, a passenger was carrying through security a pack of 500ml bottled water. Was not questioned.
