Jamie1127 Posted October 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Hello all! My name is Jamie and I am a single mother to a wonderful 2 year old boy. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with pricing/ deals for my situation? Do any lines not charge for this age? Would they charge anyway since it's just me and not two adults? I know some cruise lines promote kids sail free...wondering if it was a zero single supplement if it would affect me as well?? Ah yet another hurdle of single parenting :) Thanks so much y'all! MandyGirl Posted October 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2016 (edited) Kudos to you for starting early!! :) Usually cruise lines charge full price for first two guests regardless of age, then discounts kick in for 3rd/4th... guests in same cabin. Some may have promos that say "second guest 60% off" but that is regardless of age. Same with Kids Sail Free - all the ones I've see or used were when they are the 3rd+ passenger in cabin. Disney does discount under age 3 but that's after first two full fares in cabin have been met (been taking our kiddos cruising since 15 months) Edited October 19, 2016 by MandyGirl
Rare Essiesmom Posted October 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Go to each cruise lines website and sign up for their email specials. Pay close attention to MSC. Not a favorite here because they are not a carbon copy of the others. they have kids sail free, but they also run BOGO offers, two for the price of one.
