We are on this cruise and have been given two different check-in addresses. Initially our TA advised check-in at the port and provided the port address, subsequently it was posted on the roll that the check-in was to take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Adyar Park, I contacted the TA and after a few phone calls between her & Azamara we were re-advised that check-in is at the Crowne Plaza and have received embarkation letter now confirming this.

It would appear from the roll call that there is still conflicting advise being given, could I please ask you to check for sure where we should go and post on the roll-call also

Thanks in advance

Sue

Yes, our people have arranged to have check-in at the hotel. This is because there is some red tape involved for independent travelers to enter the port area, for security purposes.

Thank you for letting us know there was conflicting check-in information.

Sorry for any confusion. I'm sure others are confused as well.

Here's the letter that has gone out.

"Dear Azamara Journey Guest,

Azamara Club Cruises would like to make you aware of important information concerning your check-in and boarding on Azamara Journey in Chennai, India.

In order to enhance the cruise experience, we have arranged to receive you at the Crowne Plaza Adyar Park Hotel in Chennai. We ask you to please make your way to this address for check-in between 11:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.

Crowne Plaza Adyar Park

132, TTK Road, Alwarpet,

Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600018

Upon arrival to the Hotel, our staff will collect your luggage, check your cruise documents and provide you with the necessary forms for boarding the ship. One of our transfer shuttles will then take you to the pier, the commute will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the port, you will be able to board the Azamara Journey and start enjoying all the amenities the ship has to offer.

Please note that a multiple entry Indian tourist visa is needed for this itinerary and that E-visas are not valid for entry / exit by sea. Please check with local embassy for visa application requirements.

We look forward to welcoming you on board Azamara Journey.

Sincerely,

Azamara Club Cruises
