If you have the time (usually a flight after about 1:00) a one-way car rental is usually cheaper - and you may have time for a fun lunch before dropping the car off at MCO

This is what we do. We try to book a mid-to-late afternoon flight and spend the day at Disney Springs. Renting a car is definitely cheaper for us than shuttle service plus gives us the flexibility to spend the day how we want. The car also offers a place to store carry-on's as well as luggage in the event we choose not to do valet.
