Port Canaveral to MCO using Carnival transfers

We have a 12:25 p.m. flight from MCO after our Carnival Magic cruise. We've cruised from Port Canaveral several times, and have never had a problem booking the airport transfers directly through Carnival. However, when I called today to book our return transfer, the representative said she couldn't book us because our flight is earlier than 12:50.

 

The representative suggested that we wait to book the return transfer until we're on board, at which point they would be able to book us. We've made it to the airport several times with plenty of time to make a 12:30 flight, so I'm not concerned that we won't make it, but I'm not convinced that we really WILL be able to book the transfer once on board. Can anyone share experience with this?

 

I did try to searching/reading through a number of existing threads, but couldn't find this topic.

Usually there is no problem catching a 12:30 pm flight from MCO. I've heard that people cruising on Carnival Magic don't always get off as early as they hope for, but i think your should be fine. Hope someone here has the info you are looking for.

IMHO you are better off using private transport options; Cocoa Beach Shuttle, CorTrans, and others are popular with cruiser and cheaper than the cruise line transfer bus.
