TRAVELBUGCRUISER Posted November 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2016 Just wondering if I purchase the international roaming package through my cell phone carrier if there's even good coverage at sea? My carrier is Bell Mobility (Canada) It's only $5-10/day through my carrier...thinking it might be better than the wifi on the ship. Thanks for any insight! originalgeek Posted November 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2016 I think at sea you are only connecting to carnival's expensive cellular at sea. The package from your provider is for ports. Unless your carrier has some deal with carnival.

Buy the wi-fi package and connect with that. If you do not, then make sure you turn off "Mobile Data" on your phone before you leave port. When you are in port the ship's cell service is turned off and you can use your phone and data using the International Plan. Take care, Mike
