Advice Needed on Fall Cruises to Baltic

Am planning a cruise, probably on the Star Princess, next fall, either late August or early Sept. I think I saw a sign-off from someone who had been on the Star in Sept. Would appreciate any advice, suugestions, etc. from anyone who has been there recently. Have been on Princess only once, to Alaska, many years ago, so am almost a newbie. Other cruises on HAL, Costa to the Carribean.

We were on Oceania's Regatta in the Baltic, last Aug/early Sep (and saw Star Princess in a couple of ports).

Weather was very good on our trip, and seas were calm. The Baltic is a very port-intensive itinerary, with very pretty ports-of-call.

We chose Oceania because we wanted to go through the Kiel Canal (again), which is in a very pretty part of Germany. Most cruises ships cannot clear the low bridges over the Kiel. Oceania had a two-for-one with free air promotion, which was too hard to pass up.
