Sailing on the beautiful Glory this coming Saturday. Cheaping out I elected to book an inside cabin. Then it happened! The elusive upgrade fairy called and I was able to score a balcony for $250. How often does this happen?

Lucky you. I guess you booked early and they have unfilled balconies. They say it rarely happens because the ship is usually booked.

This is an Upsell and it happens to me every time the ship does not fill before sailing. The offer always varies, but I have never been willing to pay for the upgrade. $250 for a balcony is reasonable though. Enjoy that balcony!

That's exciting!! We are also on Glory leaving this Saturday out of Miami. I never get the upgrade fairy call since I always book thru my TA. Plus this cruise we scored one of the scenic ocean view rooms. I'm really excited about that and prob would not upgrade to a balcony if I did get the chance. Balconies are sweet though!

Hope we have a great cruise.....can't believe I will be on beautiful 1/2 moon this Sunday:D
