Huge Crocodile Spotted on Palancar beach

Fortunately, no-one was hurt in the latest croc snare and tourists ended up creeping up behind the reptile as it entered the sea to take holiday snaps before it disappeared under the water

Not very often. This is actually only the second one I have heard of down there. There is video on youtube of the one at Mr. Sanchos.

Not unheard of on the golf course but not many crocs further south. Maybe he got lost - makes for a great story though!

Given that the eco-reserve with crocs is just south of Palancar, it isn't surprising that one would show up on occasion. Mr. Sanchos getting a croc is a bit more surprising, but not unheard of.

 

No need to be scared of west side beaches. These sightings are very rare.

Our 1st trip to Cozumel they captured once at the entrance to Paradise beach. It was about 6ft long.

I found a video on YouTube of a croc on Palancar but it was posted July 2016. So this must have been another one? It was maybe 6-7 feet and it headed directly for the water as tourists were taking pictures.
