Sunday and Monday I tried unsuccessfully to get a good photo of the super moon. Tuesday evening Mother Nature threw me a bone by displaying a beautiful sunset. I was driving to a dinner reservation so I didn’t get the best of the sunset. I’m just thankful I had my smart phone with me or I wouldn’t have been able to get this photo.

Thank you Krazy Kruizers. I love pierces’s weekly thread and the photos that get posted to it. I’m going on a cruise soon so I hope to have some cruise related photos to post when I come back.

The day was cool and cloudy until 4:45 PM when the sun dipped below the horizon and all hell broke loose.

Shadow (the cat) liked the bounced flash. This was taken in a dark area with Dave's favorite compact lens (16-50pz on A6000) and an external medium flash bounced straight up. I'm becoming a fan of the lens as well.

A standardized Liberty Truck, circa 1918 and our wonderful volunteers who not only rebuilt the truck but drive it and man it.

 

 

This was Monday, 21 Nov. The truck was the first vehicle over the Tolbert St bridge, right outside Camp Withycombe in Clackamas Or.
