Lew Port Posted November 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2016 I recommend the Casino. Several sporting events were shown there on the cruise I attended at Halloween.

volmoma Posted November 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2016 It should be televised somewhere on the ship!! GB[emoji521]!! Sent from my iPad using Forums
rfreeman11 Posted November 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Going to be on the Magic the week before Christmas, and the Dolphins and Jets play Saturday night (Dec 17th), it will be on the NFL network, so I'm wondering if they will have it anywhere to watch on the ship. Any thoughts?
BigAlexC Posted November 30, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2016 We were on-board over Thanksgiving. The only places consistently showing games were the Casino bar and the Red From Pub. The Red Frog was my preferred destination as it was less smokey. Hope this helps.

Any thoughts? They do not have the NFL Network, but you might be lucky because I believe the Magic uses a Miami feed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Local areas get the GAme even though its an NFL Network game right?
serene56 Posted November 30, 2016 #9 Share Posted November 30, 2016 If the game is a national game it will be shown. If its a local station and not a national game you will not see it
LadyBeBop Posted November 30, 2016 #10 Share Posted November 30, 2016 Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Local areas get the GAme even though its an NFL Network game right? Right. The game must be shown on a Miami over-the-air station. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But here is the rule of thumb: If the game is on a Miami station, it will be on the ship. That includes: 1) All Dolphin games 2) All Sunday Night Football games 3) All Thursday Night Football games on either FOX or CBS 4) Most, but not all of the primary 4:25 games 5) All other games shown nationally on FOX, CBS or NBC (Kickoff special, Sunday morning games from London, Thanksgiving games, most playoff games) 6) All Monday Night Football games, however you'll have to watch in the casino or sports bars. ESPN isn't shown in the staterooms And there are games that will never be shown on board. They include: 1) All NFL Network games not including the Dolphins 2) All games played at the same time as a Dolphins home game 3) 90% of the games played at the same time as a Dolphins away game. An excellent source of information is The 506Sports maps. Put up the Wednesday before game day, it shows what cities will show what games. Here is the map showing which city is showing what game for this week. http://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2016&wk=
winddawn Posted November 30, 2016 #11 Share Posted November 30, 2016 And always keep in mind that if it is on embarkation day, you should have no satellite signal problems; however, once at sea it is not uncommon to lose the satellite feed for some stations.
