Can you bring bottles or it has to be cans?

Can someone tell me if you can bring on a 2 liter bottle of coke or a 64 oz bottle of V8 juice if it is not open? Trying to pack I have these and would love to take them or do I need to stop and get cans? Thanks for the answers!

no plastic bottles, cans are OK

You will need cans if you want to take them onboard. Apparently they were having too many issues with people refilling bottles with something not matching the original label. So now cans are allowed, or things that come in the juicebox type of container is also okay.

I was wondering why plastic 12 oz bottles weren't allowed, but I guess this explains it. Bummer!

No bottles at all.

I would also like to add that those cans/ cartons / pouches must be no more than 12 ounces and you are limited to 12 per person.
