The tragic saga continues, and I've lost my patience. I called my credit card company today to see if they have been made whole by FAL, as my account has been, at least temporarily, credited the full amount of the cruise. And the answer to that is no, they have not. The credit card company reports that the amount that I paid was taken out of FAL's account, and from what the credit card rep told me today, FAL has not returned the calls to the credit card company. So I conceivably could be charged back, and I don't want that!

 

Now I have to make sure what's going on about reimbursement of the air fare which I paid. ARRRGGGHHH......

 

Taking a look at passenger reviews of the LOUISIANE here on Cruise Critic the most recent one by a British passenger is very telling.
